Notice is hereby given for the invitation to bid on the Town of Meeker Town Shop Improvements, which includes window replacement, roof sealing, paint and façade work at the Town Shop located at 111 3rd Street in the Town of Meeker.  Bid Specifications can be found at townofmeeker.org or at Town Hall, 345 Market Street in Meeker, CO 81641.

A mandatory pre-bid walk through will be held on Monday, May 20th at 10:00 AM at the project site, 111 3rd Street.

Bids will be accepted until Thursday, May 30th at 3:00 pm. Bids will be opened and read aloud at a publicly noticed meeting after the bid closing, and awarded at the June 4th Board of Trustees Meeting, 7:00 PM at 345 Market Street in Meeker. The Town reserves the right to reject or accept any and all bids. Each proposal shall be reviewed and considered consistent with the provisions of the Town of Meeker Personnel Policy and Procedures Manual.

BID SPECIFICATIONS

2024 Town Shop Improvements

1 – Window

Remove and replace window on east side of the building. R/O after removal 48”w x 53”h. Windows: vinyl, fixed, double pane, low-E

2 – Building

Prep and paint existing siding, color to match Animal Shelter stucco and install 36”h dry stack faux stone veneer wainscot, natural color, on the east and south side of the building. Paint garage doors and remaining doors to match siding color.

3 – Roof

Seal existing metal roof with rubber or silicone sealant for weather and water proofing; prep and application according to manufacture specifications

4 – Storage Shed

Enclose middle storage shed (south of the Animal Shelter) and install new garage door to match existing enclosures on either side.

General Conditions

Building must remain accessible for employee use at all times during the project.

Bids must indicate separate pricing for each segment (I-IV) of the project: window, building, roof, and storage shed. Depending on total bid amount the bid may be awarded only for an individual segment of the scope of work and not the entire project.

The successful bidder must maintain workers’ compensation and general liability insurance in the amount of no less than $1,000,000.00 during the project.
