In 2012 the Town leased their five improved park facilities to the Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation and Park District (ERBM Rec. & Park Dist.) who have taken over maintenance and development of the parks approximate 5.5 acres combined. Campground RV Park
The Town of Meeker continues to operate the Campground RV Park Located at 4th and Water Streets and located close to downtown Meeker, featuring nine overnight camping spaces (3-4 spaces w/electric hookup) and is located along the peaceful White River. The campground is located next to the beautiful City Park which has a large covered pavilion with picnic tables for small or large gatherings, large playground area, restrooms and water.
The following are rules and regulations for camping and overnight:

o Overnight vehicle camping is by permit only. Permits may be obtained at the vending shelter in the center of the RV Park. Camping shall have a fifteen (15) day limit. The fee is fifteen dollars ($15.00) per day. Payment by check should be made payable to “Town of Meeker.” Fees must be paid by 11:00 a.m. daily. A late fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per day/per vehicle shall be charged for failure to pay the daily use fee.

o Vehicle camping allowed on the un-grassed areas of the park only.

o Tent camping permitted on the grass. All equipment shall be removed by 9:00 a.m. daily (for more information contact ERBM Rec. & Park District).

o No digging, tree cutting or fire pit construction permitted.

o Dogs must be on a leash at all times.

o No livestock permitted in park

o Spacing between camp trailers to be no closer than ten feet (10′).

o Portable electric generators or similar mechanical devices shall not be operated or permitted to be operated in this park between the hours of 10:00 p.m. of one day and 6:00 a.m. of the next day.

Adjacent to Highway 13 west of Meeker Town limits. Designated as primarily open space the park is a unique venue comprised of approximately 115 acres and includes a natural amphitheater, serves as a trailhead to BLM property at the north end of the park and has been used by different organizations for annual events such as the Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials, Smoking River Pow Wow and the Range Call Celebration concert. A large electric transformer was installed at the lower end of the park to accommodate the concert and hopefully other events.
