Town
Park/Town of Meeker Campground:
Located at 4th and Water Street. This
beautiful park is located close to downtown Meeker and
features nine overnight camping spaces (3-4 spaces
w/electric hookup) a large covered pavilion with picnic tables for
small or large gatherings, large playground area, restrooms
and water.
The following rules
and regulations for camping and overnight:

Overnight
vehicle camping is by permit only. Permits may be
obtained at the vending shelter in the center of the
park. Camping shall have a fifteen (15) day limit.
The fee is FIFTEEN dollars ($15.00) per day.
Payment by check should be made payable to "Town of
Meeker." Fees must be paid by 11:00 a.m. daily.
A late fee of ten dollars ($10.00) per day/per vehicle
shall be charged for failure to pay the daily use fee.

Vehicle camping
allowed on the un-grassed areas of the park only.

Tent camping
permitted on the grass. All equipment shall be
removed by 9:00 a.m. daily.

No
digging, tree cutting or fire pit construction
permitted.

No dogs
permitted on grass areas of park. Dogs must
be on a leash in all other areas at all times.

No
livestock permitted in park.

Spacing between
camp trailers to be no closer than ten feet (10').
-
Motor
home/trailer camper/and other vehicle camping fee is
Fifteen ($15.00) per day.

Portable
electric generators or similar mechanical devices
SHALL NOT be operated or permitted to be operated in
this park between the hours of 10:00 p.m. of one day and
6:00 a.m. of the next day.

Occupancy and
use of this park are subject to all ordinances of the
Town of Meeker.
Circle Park: Located on the
south side of the White River. Camping is available, but
there are no
amenities.
Basketball Courts:
Located at 11th Street and Pinyon.
Foot Hills Park: Located at
the top of 12th Street, the park was entirely renovated in
2007 with safe and modern play equipment and surface
materials that meet safety, design and access standards for
children of all ages. No camping
allowed.
Ute Park: Adjacent to Highway
13 west of Meeker Town limits, this park is comprised of 100
acres and designated primarily as open space. The park
is leased to the Meeker Classic Sheepdog Trials for their
annual event and the Smoking River Pow-wow (2008 & 2009).
No camping allowed unless associated with
a special event.
