Bureau of Land Management:  White River Field Office.   The White River Resource Area is located in northwest Colorado and incorporates parts of Rio Blanco, Moffat, and Garfield Counties.  The Resource Area includes approximately 2,675,360 acres of BLM, national forest, national park, state, and privately owned and administered lands.

State of Colorado: Information from the State of Colorado official website.  Find a town, county, chamber of commerce, newspaper, or television station, as well as some "unofficial" (non-government) community websites.

Colorado Division of Wildlife: The mission of the Colorado Division of Wildlife is to perpetuate the wildlife resources of the state and provide people the opportunity to enjoy them.

Colorado Northwestern Community College: Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) is a publicly supported two-year institution that was established in 1960.  To accomplish the College's Mission to serve the Northwestern portion of Colorado, CNCC maintains Service Area Centers in Meeker, Hayden and Yampa, in addition to the campuses in Rangely and Craig.

Historic Meeker Bank Robbery: One of the most dramatic and colorful events ever to occur in Northwestern Colorado was the attempted robbery of the Bank of Meeker. For a few hectic moments bullets flew thick and fast in this pioneer town, and when the fusillade was over, several Meekerites were nursing wounds and  three bank robbers were dead.

Meeker Chamber of Commerce:  A voluntary organization of businesses and individuals working together to promote business, tourism and to maintain a livable community.

Meeker Colorado & The White River Valley: Local website filled with information about the White River Valley and its people. You'll find links to Wilderness areas as well as Colorado events, Colorado's "Fourteeners" and much more. 

Meeker Golf Course:  A challenging nine-hole course located just one mile south of Meeker overlooking the beautiful White River Valley.  Several tournaments are held throughout the season.

Meeker Regional Library District: The Meeker Regional Library offers a wide range of books, books on CD and tapes, magazines and large print books.  They also offer photocopying, computers for research or email, a print-and-image magnifier and an Olympus recording microscope.

Meeker Recreation District:  The Eastern Rio Blanco Metropolitan Recreation & Park District serves the residents of Meeker, Colorado, and surrounding areas by providing year-round recreational and leisure opportunities for children, youth, and adults.

Rangely Chamber of Commerce & Town of Rangely:  Rangely has much to offer the visitor who seeks an experience off the beaten track.  Dinosaur National Monument's Fossil Quarry is close by, as are other fossil beds.

Rio Blanco County:  Website contains valuable information regarding Rio Blanco County's services, programs, offices and departments, as well as many documents and forms that you can download.

Rio Blanco Herald Times:  Weekly newspaper serving Rio Blanco County since 1885.

Schools:  School District RE-1.

White River Electric Association:  A consumer owned, non profit electric cooperative. It is our mission to bring quality electric service to our membership through reasonable electric rates with strong customer service and commitment to our community.

White River National Forest: Blanco Ranger District.  Nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains, the 2.3 million acre White River National Forest is the top recreation Forest in the nation. Home to world-renowned ski resorts and the birthplace of Wilderness, the White River has something to offer every outdoor enthusiast.
