4th of July Range Call Celebration -   We have the oldest annual rodeo in Colorado!  122 years & still going strong. Re-enactment of the Meeker Massacre is really something worth seeing.

Meeker Classic Sheepdog Championship Trials Every September North America's top dogs and handlers meet unforgiving terrain, high altitude and the West's feistiest sheep in one of the nation's most prestigious sheep herding competitions. 

Smoking River Pow-wow: The Utes called the White River “Smoking Earth River” for the clouds of mist that rise from the water on cool mornings. In the late 1800's the Utes were removed from northwest Colorado. The Smoking River Pow Wow brings them back to their ancestral homeland to honor their culture, heritage and traditions.
